This onion poha is traditional quick tasty maharastrian healthy breakfast recipe.It can also be served as brunch or dinner or for lunch box.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. poha - 2 cup
  2. oil- 2 tbsp
  3. mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  4. curry leaves - 2 arc
  5. chopped ginger - 1-2 tsp
  6. chopped chilli - 2
  7. chopped onion big - 1-2
  8. turmeric powder - big 2 pinch
  9. salt - to taste
  10. grated coconut - 2-4 tbsp
  11. roasted peanuts - 2 tbsp
  12. chopped coriander leaves - little for garnishing.

Instructions

  1. Rinse the poha in warm water and strain it.keep aside.
  2. Heat oil, add all the tadka ingredients,mustard, curry leaves,green chilli,ginger, turmeric powder,onion and salt to taste. Saute well.
  3. Add poha and mix gently.Then add grated coconut. Garnish with roasted peanuts and coriander leaves
  4. Ready.Serve immediately.
