Ingredients to make Snow Balls

  • Full cream Milk - 2 litres
  • egg- 3 nos
  • sugar - 1 cup (to taste)
  • Corn flour- 4 tablespoon
  • Vanilla Essence - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dry Fruits - For garnishing

How to make Snow Balls

  1. Boil the milk in a kadai on a medium- low flame until it reduces to 1 litre.
  2. Separate the egg whites and the yolks. Whisk the egg whites in a bowl and mix 2 tablespoons cornflour gradually to make a firm foam.
  3. Now scoop up a small amount of egg white mix with a spoon and carefully put in the boiling milk (the flame remain low). I put 1 tablespoon at a time. Boil for a minute or two. Turn off the flame.
  4. Now, separate the egg white balls from the milk and put it carefully onto the serving plate.
  5. Mix the remaining two tablespoons cornflour, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla essence together. Pour it into the milk and put it on the flame.
  6. Keeping the flame low, stir the mixture continuously till you get the level of your desired thickness. (If you wish you can add a little extra milk.)
  7. Now pour this milk mixture onto the snowballs. Refrigerate and serve chilled garnished with dry fruits of your choice.

My Tip:

I have added chopped black grapes while garnishing to give it a tempting look.
