ABOUT A Heavenly tasty Salted Caramel and Condensed milk Coconut cake in Fresh Cream( malai) and Amul butter. ( A sweet treat in the breakfast) RECIPE

It was my grandson's 30 th month birthday and he asked me " dadi where is my happy birthday to you ? " And I made this cake with whatever ingredients available at my place. Due to Makarsankranti all shops were closed. But the urge of my grandson to eat cake and the willingness of Grandma to fulfill his wish created a Magic and my grandson said " wow dadi, it's sooo nice" And with tears of happiness in my eyes I am uploading this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3/4 cup condensed milk
  2. 2 tbsp Salted Caramel.
  3. 100 gm Butter.
  4. 3 tbsp fresh cream ( malai)
  5. 1 1/2 cup wheat flour.
  6. Coconut grated 1/2 cup.
  7. Cinnamon powder. 1 tsp.
  8. Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp.
  9. Baking soda, a pinch
  10. Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp.
  11. Milk 1/4 cup ( according to the need).
  12. Sugar 3 tbsp ( Optional)
  13. Utensils
  14. Pressure cooker
  15. Sand ( to make layer in the cooker)
  16. Metal plate.
  17. Aluminium flat lid to cover the cooker.

Instructions

  1. Sieve wheat flour with baking soda and baking powder.
  2. Mix Amul butter and Powdered sugar together. Beat well for 7 to 10 minutes.
  3. Add condensed milk and beat again. Add fresh cream too. Add Cinnamon powder and Vanilla essence.
  4. Add flour and beat using your finger tips. Add Grated Coconut.
  5. Add Salted Caramel. Check the consistency for cake. Add milk if needed.
  6. Taste for the sugar. Add if you want more sweet. ( I have not added).
  7. Heat the pressure cooker on high flame on gas.
  8. Transfer the batter in greased baking container.
  9. Bake on high flame for 15 minutes. Than lower to medium.
  10. After 20 minutes you can keep a heated iron griddle ( roti tawa) on the lid . So you get a nice brownish colour on top too.
  11. And here is your heavenly delicious cake ready for you.
