It's my own invention.Chukka kura fights against cancer,reduces growth of tumours,regains weight for patients,helps in liver functioning.Excellent source of vitamins C,A and B9 and also rich in iron,magnesium and calcium.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 bunches chukka kura(Chukka in Hindi and green sorrel in English
  2. 2 cups rice
  3. 4 DRY RED CHILLIES
  4. 4 green chillies
  5. Handful of Curry leaves
  6. 1 teaspoon hing(asafetida)
  7. 2 table spoons peanuts
  8. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  9. 1teaspoon jeera(cumin seeds)
  10. 1/2 teaspoon haldi(turmeric)
  11. 1 teaspoon split chanadal
  12. oil
  13. Salt

Instructions

  1. Cook rice and keep aside.wash and cut chukkakura .keep a kadai on stove add 1 teaspoon oil and add chukkakura and cook on sim flame.when chukka kura turns into a paste turn of the flame keep aside.
  2. When rice cools down add chukkakura paste and salt to rice and mix well.
  3. Take a kadai, place it on stove.Add 5 tablespoons oil ,peanuts,mustard seeds,jeera.split chana,hing,haldi.when these seasonings start to pop add dry chillies,green chillies and curry leaves.Then add this thadkaa to rice and mix well.
  4. Your healthy and tasty chukkakura pulihora is ready.
