Caramel Filled Chocolate

Ingredients to make Caramel Filled Chocolate

  • Granulated sugar 100 g
  • Butter 30 g
  • Cream 60 ml
  • Dark chocolate slab 200 g
  • caramel sauce as already prepared

How to make Caramel Filled Chocolate

  2. Put the sugar into a pan and place on medium heat.
  3. Let the sugar melt completely. Don't forget to stir continuously until it turns light brown.
  4. Add butter and whisk rapidly until the butter has melted and is combined completely.
  5. Turn off the heat and add cream and again whisk rapidly until combined.
  6. Place it in fridge to cool.
  7. Now take chocolate and melt it either in microwave or double boil method.
  8. When the chocolate is melted, fill the chocolate moulds with chocolate by using small spoon.
  9. Fill the chocolate moulds. However preserve some melted chocolate for later use.
  10. Then place the moulds in a fridge.
  11. Be careful otherwise chocolate will turn hard
  12. After 4 to 5 minutes when the chocolate is of ice cream consistency, bring the moulds out of the fridge.
  13. Scoop out the chocolate from within each chocolate cube and make a well in-between each chocolate cube.
  14. Fill the well with the caramel using a small spoon.
  15. Thereafter cover the caramel with the melted chocolate.
  16. Return the moulds back to the refrigerator.
  17. Caramel filled chocolate is ready.
My Tip: If you don't have proper chocolate moulds, nothing to worry. Even ice tray can help you.
