A simple and tasty paratha

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup – whole wheat flour
  2. ½ tea spoon ajwain
  3. Cooking oil- I tea spoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil for making paratha

Instructions

  1. Mix atta, ajwain, salt and oil in a vessel.
  2. Add little water to the mixture and make a firm dough. Let it rest for 10- 15 min.
  3. Roll out a small portion of the dough. Spread some oil or ghee on it. Fold it twice to make a triangular shape. With a rolling pin, roll out the paratha gently.
  4. Heat a tawa and cook the parathas using oil. Serve with pickle/ aachar.
