Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 boiled eggs
  2. 4 boiled potatoes
  3. 1/2onion finely chopped
  4. 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1/4 tsp chilli pd
  7. 1/4 tsp jeera pd
  8. 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  9. 1 green chilli chopped
  10. 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  11. Oil for frying
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Besan batter :- 3/4 cup besan
  14. Pinch of chilli pd
  15. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  16. 1/2 cup water or as required
  17. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs and cut into 4 slices length wise
  2. Mash the boiled potatoes
  3. In a pan add mustard seeds when they splutter
  4. Add finely chopped onions. Saute till soft
  5. Add ginger garlic paste fry for a min
  6. Add chilli pd, turmeric powder & jeera pd stir a min
  7. Add mashed potatoes, green chillies chopped , salt& coriander leaves stir for 2 to 3 mins off the flame
  8. Cool the mixture and make a smooth paste
  9. Besan batter
  10. In a bowl add besan chilli pd, turmeric powder salt ,& water make a smooth batter
  11. Take a slice of egg and cover with potato mixture. Cover all the egg slices in this way
  12. Heat oil in a kadhai
  13. Dip the covered eggs in besan batter
  14. Deep fry on medium to high flame till golden
  15. Serve with tomato ketchup
