About BanoffeeSundae Recipe

A sweet delight with yumminess of Dulce de leche and bananas. The very name suggests it is made of banana and toffee.


Ingredients to make BanoffeeSundae

  • 1 can milkmaid
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp Whipped cream
  • 1 scoop Icecream for each glass
  • 1 pack of digestive bsicuits
  • 8-10 nuts
  • 20-30 choco chips to garnish

How to make BanoffeeSundae

  1. For making Dulce de leche-
  2. You require a milkmaid can. Take a 5 litres pressure cooker. Fill it with water and put the Milkmaid can in it. Give it one whistle on high flame then let it simmer for 20 minutes .
  3. Switch off gas and let the cooker cool on its own. Do not open in between. When cooled take out the can. It would be hot. Let it cool. Once cooled open the can your DDL is ready.
  4. For assembling of Banoffee Sundae-
  5. 1. Crush the digestive biscuits finely. To this add butter (melted) and mix to have a crumbly mixture. In bottom of glass put a layer of biscuit mixture.
  6. Keep it in fridge to set.
  7. Now top it with a layer of DDL
  8. Now add a layer of sliced bananas.
  9. And finally a layer of whipped cream and icecream .  On top drizzle more DDL and nuts and chocochips. And Enjoy.

My Tip:

If making in a large bowl you can repeat the layers.
