ABOUT Nutrela Soya Mysore Bonda RECIPE

Mysore bondas are fried dumplings made with flour, yogurt and spices. They are crispy outside and fluffy inside. They make a delightful treat for any party or snack for tea time.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. ½ cup of Nutrela Soya Granules
  2. 1 and ½ cups of Maida flour
  3. ½ cup of Rice flour
  4. 1 cup Sour curd
  5. 5 Green chillies
  6. 1 tsp Soda salt
  7. 1 tsp of Ginger Garlic paste
  8. ½ tsp of Cumin seeds
  9. ½ tsp Chopped ginger
  10. ½ tsp Chopped ginger
  11. 1 tbsp Sliced Coconut pieces
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Oil (for frying the bondas)

Instructions

  1. Mix the flours along with salt, soda salt and curd and leave it for 30 mins.
  2. After an hour and a half, beat the batter well. Add Nutrela Soya Granules, chopped ginger, green chillies, cumin seeds and slit coconut pieces and mix well.
  3. Heat the oil in the pan and test if the oil is ready for frying the bondas.
  4. Take small balls of dough and gently drop it in oil.
  5. Fry the bondas till it becomes crisp on medium flame on both sides.
  6. Remove the fried bondas and place it in a plate having a tissue paper to drain the excess oil.
  7. Mysore Bonda is ready to be served hot with chutney.
