Pirandai its largely available in India and Sri Lanka.Its a little pungent and hence if it gets in contact with our skin we will have itching sensation.Its stem and roots are have lots of medicinal purpose.Pirandai ,It will increase memory power,Strengthen the brain nerves,Gives strength to bones,Stop bleeding in the gum,Gastric related problems will be solved,So it is good if we take twice a week.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pirandai - 1 bunch
  2. Garlic Pods -1 /4 cup
  3. Ginger - 2 tbsp (Chopped)
  4. Dry Red chillies - 8
  5. Tamarind - amla size
  6. Salt - To taste
  7. Oil -1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. *First wash the pirandai and cut it at each nodes.Scrap the thin edges,be careful while removing as it could be itchy process.Then cut into small pieces.
  2. *Heat oil in a kadai ,saute the dry red chilli,ginger and garlic seperately until it turns golden brown.Keep it aside.In same kadai add the chopped pirandai saute it well until the colour changes pale.
  3. *Cool down and then first grind red chilli,ginger and garlic to a coarse paste and then later add sauted pirandai.
  4. *Then add salt and tamaraind,just give a pulse mode.It should be coarse paste.Dont add water while grinding.
