In Western Utter Pradesh it's very famous to have hot suji halwa with khasta lachha paratha.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Semolina 1/2cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee 4 tbsp
  4. Water 1 1/2 cups
  5. Cardamom powder 1tsp
  6. Ghee 1 tbsp
  7. Desired dry fruits 3 tbsp
  8. Multi grain flour 1 cup
  9. Salt 1/2tsp
  10. Ghee for greesing

Instructions

  1. HEAT GHEE AND ADD SEMOLINA
  2. COOK TILL IT START BECOMING BROWN AND KEEP STIRRING.
  3. WHEN IT TURNED BROWN ADD WATER.
  4. ADD SUGAR.
  5. COOK ON LOW FLAME
  6. WHEN IT BECOME THICK OFF THE FLAME AND ADD 1 TBSP GHEE AND CARDAMOM POWDER.
  7. ROLL A LEMON SIZE DOUGH WITH A ROLLING PIN.
  8. SPREAD GHEE, SPRINKLE FLOUR AND ROLL IT IN A ZIG ZAG FORM.
  9. ROLL AND SHAPE IT ROUND.
  10. ROLL IT AGAIN LIGHTLY.
  11. PUT THIS PARATHA ON A PRE-HEATED TAWA.
  12. COOK FROM BOTH SIDES.
  13. SPREAD GHEE AND FLIP IT.
  14. COOK WELL FROM BOTH SIDES.
