Red-Velvet Pancake

Ingredients to make Red-Velvet Pancake

  • For Red-velvet pancake
  • 1 cup Pancake mix
  • 1/2 cup Red-velvet cake mix
  • 1 or 2 drops of Red food color
  • 2 teaspoon Unsweetened cocoa pwder
  • 1/2 teaspoon White vinegar
  • 3/4 cup water (use more if needed)
  • For creem cheese topping:
  • 4 ounce cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tbls butter, soften
  • 2-3 tbls Whipping cream or milk
  • 4-5 tbls sugar powder
  • Few drops of vanilla extract

How to make Red-Velvet Pancake

  1. For Cream Cheese Topping: In a med. bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, whipping cream and vanilla extract.
  2. Beat on low speed until topping is smooth. Cover it or pour it into drizzling bottle.
  3. For Red-Velvet Pancake: In large bowl, stir all red-velvet pancake ingredients.
  4. Mix well. no lumps at all. Add some more water if needed
  5. Add a large spoonful of the batter to the skillet.
  6. Cook until bottom edges looks cooked and few tiny bubbles are coming through the top. Flip it and cook.
  7. Take cooked pancake on serving plate.
  8. Cut in to your favourite shape (optional) or just serve it with cream cheese topping.
