Hara bhara dhokla is a easy and quick snack can be prepare in breakfast , kids tiffin and also a perfect snack for 4 p.m hunger , this hara bhara dhokla is very healthy as spinach is a main ingredient in it , rawa is also very light so it is a combination of healthy and light breakfast. Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rawa/ suji 2 cup
  2. 1 cup hot water
  3. Sour Buttermilk 1 cup
  4. Spinach puree 1 cup
  5. 2-3 green chilly
  6. 1 tsp chilly ginger paste
  7. 1/2 tsp cumin
  8. 1/2 tsp paper powder
  9. 2 tbsp oil
  10. 1 tsp baking soda
  11. Salt to taste
  12. For tempering:-
  13. 1 tbsp oil
  14. 2 green chillies cut into slit
  15. 8-10 curry leaves
  16. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  17. 1 tsp sesame

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add buttermilk and rawa and keep aside for 15 minutes
  2. After 15 minutes add salt , peper powder , cumin, green chillies, ginger garlic paste salt and oil
  3. Now add baking soda and pour 1 cup of hot water on baking soda mixture will be fluffy then add spinach puree into it
  4. Mix it well and prepare a steamer
  5. Now pour the batter into any shape of greased mould or idli mould and cook in steamer for 5-7 minutes
  6. Check with toothpick , if comes out clean then its done , otherwise cook for another 2-3 minutes
  7. Let tje dhokla cool on room temprature
  8. Cut into pieces and then heat oil in wok to prepare tempering
  9. Add mustrad seeds , sesame seeds to splutter, add green chillies and curry leaves
  10. Pour the temper on dhokla and serve
