ABOUT Mackerel fish roast. RECIPE

Mackerel fish is a good source of Vitamin D, some of Vitamin B, protein, & it contains omega 3 fatty acids that r good for our body. A rich tasty sidedish goes well with all types of rotis & rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. mackerel fish 3.
  2. big onion 2, sliced
  3. green chillies 2 chopped
  4. tomato 3 big.sliced
  5. ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. chilli powder 2 tbsp ( or according to ur taste)
  7. turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  8. coriander powder 3 tsp
  9. garam masala 1/4 tsp
  10. salt
  11. oil 2 tbsp
  12. lemon juice 1/4 tsp
  13. coriander leaves a few.

Instructions

  1. Cook fish with salt & turmeric adding some water.
  2. when cool, take out only the flesh of the fish, removing bones.
  3. heat a pan with oil. put ginger garlic paste. saute.
  4. then add onion & chillies. fry till done.
  5. then add fish along with all other ingredients except tomato & coriander leaves . stir well for a few min.
  6. put tomatoes. add some water about 1/4 cup of water. stir well. adjust masalas. if anything is needed add now.
  7. cover & cook for a few more min till all water evaporates & it s in semi thick form.
  8. add coriander leaves. stir well.
  9. serve hot .
