Ingredients to make Traditional paan with peppermint cream

  • 2 tsp curd
  • 2 tsp maida
  • 2 tsp castor sugar
  • 1 tsp cashew nut powder
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp cream
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 paan patta cut in pieces
  • 2 paan pasand candy powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of baking soda
  • A touch of salt
  • A few drops of lemon juice
  • A Pinch of cardamon powder
  • Green food colour
  • For topping:
  • cream
  • Green food colour
  • Icing sugar
  • Few drops of peppermint powder
  • Few drops of cardamom essence

How to make Traditional paan with peppermint cream

  1. For the paan flavour, heat a pan, add butter, cream, honey and add paan leaves cut in pieces. After a minute turn off the stove.
  2. In a mixing bowl whisk curd and add all ingredients one by one in it. Now add paan pasand candy powder, paan and honey mixture, cardamon powder, green colour and mix slowly.
  3. Now pour this mixture in baking a mold for bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree centigrade for 20 to 25 minutes or till done.
  4. For the topping: Whisk cream in bowl, add colour, icing sugar, peppermint powder and cardamon essence. Mix well.
  5. When the cake cools top with peppermint cream and garnish with paan leaves, crush paan pasand candy, raisins and dry fruits.
