Ingredients to make Clafoutis

  • 1ĵ cup whole Milk
  • ? cup Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Almond extract
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ½ cup Flour
  • 2-3 cups of Cherries
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

How to make Clafoutis

  1. Preheat the oven at 150 degrees and butter the baking dish.
  2. With the help of the electric mixture, mix milk and eggs together. Later add vanilla, sugar, salt and almond extract.
  3. Add flour little by little while mixing.
  4. Add half of the batter in the baking dish and bake for 8 minutes. Then top with cherries over the half baked batter.
  5. Pour the remaining batter over it and bake for 45 mins to 1 hr until puffed.
  6. Serve hot with dusting powdered sugar on the top.
