Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong dal - 1 cup
  2. Spinach - 1 cup
  3. Spring onions [chopped] - 1/2 cup
  4. Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  5. garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  6. Green chillies chopped - 1 tsp
  7. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  8. Coriander seeds [crushed] - 1/2 tsp
  9. turmeric powder a pinch
  10. Salt [ as per taste]
  11. Garam Masala - 1/4 th tsp
  12. Oil [for deep frying]

Instructions

  1. Soak the moong dal in ample amount of water over night and then drain them the next morning. Grind the dal into a coarse paste.
  2. Chop the spinach and add it along with rest of the ingredients to the moong dal paste. Mix well.
  3. Now heat lot of oil in a kadhai, drop small dumplings of the mixture into the oil, deep fry them until golden brown and serve them hot.
