ABOUT Brinjal chutney with peas RECIPE

This is a recipe of chutney made with brinjal and peas, that can be served with some hot rotis or parathas on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil 1 tsp
  2. Urad daal 1 tsp
  3. Dry Red Chilly 3
  4. Garlic 4clove
  5. Brinjal 1 chopped
  6. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Tamarind 1
  9. Peas 1/2 cup
  10. Water as required
  11. Sugar 1 tsp
  12. For Seasoning
  13. Oil 3tsp
  14. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  15. Urad daal 1 tsp
  16. Asafoetifa 1pinch

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. add in urad dal, Chilli and garlic .fry for a minute. take it in a Blender and add water and make it into smooth paste.
  2. Now in the same pan ,add peas ,add in Brinjal and saute well. add in Salt and turmeric powder and mix well.
  3. Add in water and tamarind Pulp and cook till done.
  4. Now take this in a Blender and add some sugar, puree till smooth.
  5. heat oil in the same pan,add in all seasoning stuffs and mix well.
  6. Add in The chutney and mix well.
