Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Fenugreek seeds 1/4 cup
  2. Idli rice 2 cup
  3. Water
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Coconut / cooking oil 3-4 tsp

Instructions

  1. WASH THE RICE AND FENUGREEK SEEDS, AND SOAK THEM IN WATER FOR COUPLE OF HOURS.
  2. ADD SALT AND WATER
  3. GRIND COARSELY AND TRANSFER INTO A VESSEL, CLOSE AND STORE IN WARM PLACE FOR FERMENTATION OVERNIGHT
  4. ADD FEW DROPS OF OIL TO EACH IDLI MOULDS
  5. POUR THE BATTER INTO EACH, CLOSE THE LID AND STEAM FOR 30-40 MINUTES
  6. OPEN THE LID CHECK THE COOKNESS, LET IT COOL FOR 5 MINUTES
  7. REMOVE AND SERVE
