A simple and quick recipe to attract kids and making them eating veggies like spinach carrots etc. As kids love colour full and attractive servings, i served it in two different ways and in different shapes too. My son was so excited to see these dhoklas that he dressed up very soon for school and was very happy to take this in his lunch. But this recipe is not difficult specially for morning hush hush hours. Do try it and see a beautiful 440 volts smile on your kids face.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. One cup spinach puree
  2. One cup carrot puree or you can use tomato puree also
  3. Two cups sooji
  4. Half cup oats
  5. One cup sour curd
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Halt tbsp baking soda
  8. One tbsp oil
  9. One tbsp mustard seeds
  10. Few curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Mix sooji oats and curd in bowl and add salt and baking soda and divide into three separate bowls
  2. Mix spinach paste in one bowl and carrot or tomato puree in the other. Remaining bowl should be kept for white colour
  3. Now pour this different colour batter into different shape moulds and steam them in the steamer till 15 minutes.
  4. Now heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds curry leaves. Pour them on the steamed colour full dhoklas and serve
