This is very simple pan fried tikkas

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer - 200 gm
  2. Capsicum - 1
  3. Onion - 1
  4. Tomatoes - 1
  5. Besan - 3 tbsp
  6. Salt
  7. Mustard oil
  8. Haldi [turmeric powder] - 1/2 tsp
  9. Hung curd - 1/2 cup
  10. Ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp
  11. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  12. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  13. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  14. Orange dry colour
  15. Butter

Instructions

  1. Cut paneer into cubes and Capsicum, Onion and tomatoes into slices
  2. Take a bowl put hung curd
  3. Now put ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, garam masala, dry orange colour. Mix properly
  4. Now take 2 tbsp of Mustard oil on pan. Heat it.. Put the flame off
  5. Now mix 1/2 tsp Haldi in hot oil and mix that oil in the marination... It will give a nice colour and enhance the taste
  6. Now roast 2 tbsp Besan with butter till it gives nice aroma
  7. Put this into the marination and whisk it well
  8. At the last add lemon juice and adjust the masalas according to your taste
  9. Now put paneer cubes, Capsicum, Onion and tomatoes slices and mix well
  10. Keep the marination in fridge for 10-15 minutes
  11. Now take a charcoal piece and burn it on gas
  12. Take a Onion slice put it in the marination put that charcoal piece on it and put a butter piece and immediately keep the lid so that the charcoal flavour gets into the marination
  13. Now take the cubes and slices and put them in skewers
  14. Pan fry them and later on show them on directly on fire for that burnt flavour
  15. Serve them with chutney or sauce
