Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati Rice - 1 cup
  2. Onions -1 chopped finely
  3. Tomato - 2 chopped finely
  4. Capsicum -1 chopped
  5. Carrot-1 finely chopped
  6. Green Peas -1 cup
  7. Green chilli - 1 chopped finely
  8. Pav Bhaji Masala - 2 tblpsn
  9. Chilli Garlic Paste - 3 tblspn
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  12. Butter - 4 tblspn
  13. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Wash basmati rice, soak it for 30 mins. Bring lots of water to boil, add salt to it. Add in rice and cook for 7 to 8 mins till it is done. Drain and set aside. Leave it to cool completely.
  2. In a kadai add butter add in chilli garlic paste and cook till oil separates. Add in the Onions,Green chilli, tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
  3. Add in salt and little sugar and mix well. Add in the pav bhajji masala and mix well. Add in peas and capsicum,carrot saute it for 10min.
  4. Add in the cooked rice and mix well until the masala coats each rice. Serve hot with any raita and any gravy
