Ingredients to make Horse gram Sprouts Masala

  • Sprouts- 1 cup
  • oil-2 tsp
  • jeera-1\2 tsp
  • onion-1 ,finely chopped
  • green chilly-1
  • ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • tomato-1
  • red chilly powder- 1 tsp
  • coriander powder- 1 & 1\2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  • Garam masala-1\2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves

How to make Horse gram Sprouts Masala

  1. Clean the sprouts well in water and pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles.
  2. .Heat oil in a pan, add in jeera then add chopped onion, green chilly and saute.Next, add ginger garlic paste and saute a while followed by chopped or pureed tomato.Cook till it be

  4. Cook in low flame till all the spices blends together with the sprouts.Switch off and add chopped coriander

My Tip:

To make sprouts, Clean the gram and soak in water for 8-12 hours.Drain the water and keep the soaked pulse in a damp cloth.In 24 hours it would have been fully sprouted.
