Ingredients to make Pyaaj - karele ki sabji

  • 2 cup onion cut
  • 2 cup bittergourd deseeds and cut
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chilly powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste

How to make Pyaaj - karele ki sabji

  1. Combine the Karela and a little salt in deep bowl. and mix very well keep aside for 20 minutes
  2. Squeeze all the water.dry them completely.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan.Add the onion and saute on a medium flame.
  4. Add the karela,mix well. And cover and cook on a slow flame for 15 minutes.while stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the turmeric powder, chilly powder,and salt mix well stirring occasionally.

Serve hot.
