ABOUT Spinach Cheesy Rice RECIPE

A healthy combination dish of spinach and rice with a hint of cheese.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 1 bunch of spinach, finely chopped
  3. 1 Onion, finely chopped
  4. 1 inch ginger (optional), minced/smashed
  5. 2-3 garlic cloves, minced/smashed
  6. 2 slices of processed cheese
  7. salt to taste
  8. 1/2 tsp pepper
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 2 tsp olive oil


  1. Boil the rice with water then let it simmer and cook. Once cooked, keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan and heat the olive oil in it, then add the garlic and onion to saute. Next add the chopped spinach leaves and stir for a minute.
  3. After this process add your boiled rice along with salt , pepper as per your taste. Then add the red chilli powder and give it a good stir for a minute.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes, then turn off the flame and add in the cheese. Let the cheese melt for a minute.
  5. Your spinach cheesy rice is ready!
