Ingredients to make Crunchy Cabbage Pakore

  • cabbage 2-3 cup
  • onion slices 1 large
  • Grated ginger 1.5 tsp
  • coriander leaves
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • besan 1.5 cup
  • water as required
  • oil for frying

How to make Crunchy Cabbage Pakore

  1. TAKE 1.5 CUPS GRAM FLOUR
  2. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI & CORIANDER POWDERS, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  3. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP CUMIN POWDER
  4. MIX & ADD SOME WATER
  5. WHISK FOR 1-2 MINS TO MAKE A THICK BATTER
  6. ADD 1.5 TSP GRATED GINGER & FRESH CORIANDER, MIX
  7. ADD 1 SLICED ONION
  8. ADD 2-3 CUPS CHOPPED CABBAGE, MIX
  9. DEEP FRY SMALL PORTIONS OF BATTER IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT
  10. FLIP CAREFULLY
  11. REMOVE FROM HEAT WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
