Ingredients to make Crunchy Sabudana Vadas

  • 1 cup sabudana
  • 1 heaped cup potatoes cubed or 7 medium potatoes
  • ¼ cup peanuts
  • 1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp cumin/ jeera
  • 4 to 5green chilies chopped
  • powdered rock salt as needed
  • pomegranate

How to make Crunchy Sabudana Vadas

  1. WASH, SOAK 1 CUP SAGO PEARLS FOR 2-4 HOURS
  2. DRAIN, THEY WOULD BE DOUBLED UP AND FLUFFY NOW
  3. PRESSURE COOK 5-6 POTATOES
  4. PEEL OFF THE SKIN
  5. MASH THEM
  6. MIX WITH THE SAGO PEARLS
  7. ADD 2-3 GREEN CHILLIES, 1 TSP CUMIN
  8. ADD 1/4 CUP FRESH CORIANDER
  9. ADD ROASTED, GROUND PEANUTS, MIX
  10. MAKE A SOFT DOUGH LIKE THIS
  11. SHAPE INTO VADAS
  12. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  13. REMOVE FROM HEAT WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
