Chicken Chilly Manchurian

Ingredients to make Chicken Chilly Manchurian

  • Chicken breasts 2 whole
  • Onions 2 largely sliced
  • Capsicum 1 largely sliced
  • Green chilies 4, sliced into slanting pieces
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • Ginger 1 inch and garlic 4 cloves, both finely sliced
  • For marination of chicken breasts :-
  • ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • cornstarch 4 tablespoons
  • red chilly powder 1 tablespoon
  • soy sauce 2 teaspoons
  • red food colour a pinch
  • salt to taste vinegar 2 teaspoons
  • For the manchurian sauce :
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon green chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon thai chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt to taste

How to make Chicken Chilly Manchurian

  1. To prepare the sauce, take a pan and pour in oil to heat, fry the ginger and garlic pieces till the raw smell disappears.
  2. Next, fry the onions and green chilies till its translucent. Add half of the spring onions and mix well.
  3. Now add the manchurian sauce and mix it well. Cover and simmer to cook for 10 minutes .
  4. Marinate the chicken with the listed ingredients for 10 minutes and fry them.
  5. Then mix the chicken well with the sauce and serve it immediately.
My Tip: Mix the fried chicken with the sauce only when its ready to serve, this is to maintain the crispiness of the chicken.
