ABOUT Green garlic pickle RECIPE

An easy and quick pickle to be served with some parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green garlic - 250 gms
  2. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
  6. Lemon juice - 1tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop green garlic.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add green garlic,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  4. Saute for 2 - 3 mins. and turn off the flame.
  5. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Keep in the sunlight for one to two days.
  7. Now your green garlic pickle is ready to eat.
