Instant Jalebi

Ingredients to make Instant Jalebi

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of yellow food colour
  • Ghee for frying
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Few chopped pistachios
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Few kesar strands

How to make Instant Jalebi

  1. Mix the maida, baking powder, curd and yellow food colour together. Then make a paste and fill this in the piping bag.
  2. Deep fry them from both sides till they turn golden in colour. Then immediately transfer it into the sugar syrup.
  3. To prepare the chasni /sugar syrup, mix the sugar and water till it is of one thread consistency on a medium flame.
  4. Mix in the pistachios, cardmom powder and kesar strands.
  5. Serve it hot to enjoy!

My Tip:

You can use a sauce bottle instead of a piping bag.
