Ingredients to make Aloo chaat

  • 1. potato 1/2 kg
  • 2 .4-5 fresh bread slices (make breadcrumbs out of it)
  • 3. Onion 2 cut into slices, along with coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 4. salt as per taste
  • 5 .Garam masala 1 tsp
  • 6 .amchur powder 1 tsp
  • 7. coriander powder 2 tsp
  • 8. turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • 9 red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • 10. coriander leaves a handful
  • 11 one green chilli chopped
  • 12 .tamarind chutney 3-4 tsp
  • 13 curd 1 tbsp
  • 14 oil as required to fry the tikkis

How to make Aloo chaat

  1. 1 Boil the potatoes. Once they are boiled, peel the cover and mash it along with the spices, salt, coriander leaves and chopped green chilli.
  2. 2 Next, add the fresh bread crumbs and make the tikkis. Heat oil on a tawa and cook the tikkis till they turn golden brown in colour.
  3. 3.In a plate place the tikkis, then spread the curd, tamarind chutney, chilli powder, onion and coriander on top.
  4. 4.Serve it hot when the tikki has best taste.
