Ingredients to make Fruit Cake

  • 1 cup maida or flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 tbsp cashewnuts
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 cup Brandy
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

How to make Fruit Cake

  1. Sift flour, ginger powder, baking powder and cinnamon powder together.
  2. Take a bowl and beat the eggs, butter and sugar together.
  3. Add maida mix in the bowl little by little, followed by nuts, zest and raisins.
  4. Add brandy at the end and mix.
  5. Preheat the oven at 150 degrees celcius and bake the batter for 1 hour.
  6. Reduce the temperature to 120 degrees and bake for another 1 or 1 1/2 hours.

Totly 1 ,1/2 hours and replace to broensuger and any other things jo ginger powder ko replace kare
