  • bajra flour 1 cup
  • Wwf 1/4 cup
  • Kasuri methi 1/4 cup - Slightly tawa roasted
  • salt to taste
  • oil for moan 3 tbsp rest for frying

  1. TAKE 1 CUP BAJRA FLOUR
  2. ADD 1/4 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
  3. ADD 1 TSP CHILLIE PWDR
  4. ADD 1 TBSP DHANIA PWDR
  5. ADD 1 TSP HALDI PWDR
  6. 2 TBSP JAGGERY PWDR.YOU CAN USE SUGAR IF YOU DNT HAVE JAGGERY PWDR
  7. ADD A PINCH GARAM MASALA PWDR
  8. ADD 1 TBSP AJWAIN SEEDS
  9. ADD 1 1/2 TBSP SESAME SEEDS
  10. MIX
  11. ONCE THE INGRIDENTS ARE MIXED PROPERLY,
  12. ADD CRUSHED GARLIC PODS 5
  13. ADD 1 GREEN CHILLIE FINELY CHOPPED(YOU CAN USE MORE IF YOU LIKE IT MORE SPICY)
  14. ADD 1/4 CUP TAWA ROASTED KASURI METHI
  15. ADD 3 TBSP OIL
  16. ADD 1 TSP SALT.YOU CAN ADD MORE OR LESS ACCORDING TO YOUR TASTE
  17. MIX
  18. WHEN YOU FORM A LUMP IT'S SHULD STICK .THAT MEANS THE MOAN(OIL) IS ENOUGH
  19. ADD 2 TBSP THICK CURD
  20. START FORMING A DOUGH.NO NEED TO ADD WATER
  21. IF CURD IS NEEDED MORE YOU CAN ADD BUT MAKE SURE IT'S A STIF DOUGH.
  22. HEAT OIL ON MEDIUM FLAME
  23. MAKE SMALL BALLS
  24. ROLL THEM BETWEEN YOUR PALMS
  25. GENTLY PRESS TO FORM SMALL DISC.IT SHOULD NOT BE TOO THIN OR THICK.
  26. SEAL THE CRACKS OF ANY
  27. ONCE THE OIL IS HOT,SLOWLY DROP 1 VADI AT A TIME.DO NOT CROWD THE OIL.ADD 5 TO 6 MIN ACC TO THE SIZE
  28. ONCE THEY ARE GOLDEN FROM 1 SIDE TURN THEM
  29. COOK ON BOTH SIDE TILL THEY ARE GOLDEN
  30. DRAIN THE OIL AND REMOVE ON KITCHEN TOWEL
