ABOUT Egg chaat RECIPE

Egg chaat is one of the easiest recipes I have ever made.It is very much liked by kids who hate to have boiled eggs.Actually,I tried it at home when one of my friends requested me to make something innovative which her daughter would like.It helps us to consume protein too.Anyone irrespective of age would like this recipe due to its innovative taste and look.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 boiled eggs
  2. 1 Tbsp tomato ketchup
  3. 1 tsp tomato chilli sauce
  4. 3 tsp tamarind extract
  5. 1 tbsp curry leaves(dry roasted)
  6. 2 green chilly(chopped
  7. 1 medium carrot(shredded)
  8. 1 small red onions(finely chopped)
  9. 1 tomato(finely chopped)
  10. 1/3 cup boiled potato(cubed)
  11. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1 tsp mint-chilly chutney
  13. 2 tsp lemon juice
  14. 1 tsp black pepper
  15. 4 tbsp sev(bhujia)
  16. 1/2 tsp chaat mashala

Instructions

  1. Boil both the eggs and a small potato and peel them off.
  2. Cut the boiled potato into small cubes.
  3. Cut the boiled eggs vertically into four thin slices and place them in a plate very carefully.
  4. Lay the choped onion,boiled potatoes,tomato,chopped green chillies and carrot equally over the eggs.
  5. In a bowl, mix tomato ketchup, tomato chili sauce, tamarind extract,mint-chilli chutney,red chilli powder and salt.
  6. Spread the chutney over the boiled eggs.
  7. Add the fresh lime juice and spread the sev over it.
  8. Sprinkle the chaat mashala.
  9. Now, the chatpata Egg Chaat is ready to serve.
