ABOUT Teacher's pet !! RECIPE

This burger is essentially flavoured with whiskey. I have used Teacher's scotch whiskey for the same and hence the name :blush:

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. For crispy onion
  2. 1 onion thinly sliced
  3. Oil
  4. Salt
  5. 1tbsp whiskey
  6. For patty
  7. 300 gms chicken mince
  8. 2tsp mint leaves chopped
  9. 1tsp paprika powder
  10. 2tsp soy sauce
  11. Salt
  12. 1 egg yolk
  13. For whiskey glaze
  14. 1/4 cup whiskey
  15. 2tsp Worcestershire sauce
  16. 1tbsp honey
  17. 1/2tsp mustard sauce
  18. 1/4tsp sugar
  19. 1tbsp tamato sauce
  20. 1/2tsp paprika powder
  21. For assembling
  22. Burger bun
  23. Red coral lettuce
  24. Tomato slices

Instructions

  1. For crispy onion Put oil to the pan and add sliced onion .
  2. Sprinkle salt and stir it occasionally until golden . Now sprinkle whiskey and stir again.
  3. Remove from flame and keep aside.
  4. For burger patty Take all the ingredients and mix well.
  5. Now form a patty and cook it in little butter on a grill pan on medium flame .
  6. Flip once it turns beautifully golden at one side. Remove it from flame once it is cooked from centre.
  7. To make whiskey glaze Mix in all the ingredients in a bowl than pour it in a pan and let it reduce on slow flame.
  8. Keep warm until ready to serve.
  9. To assemble Take a toasted bun and put lettuce and tomatoes on it.
  10. Now spread the glaze and put the patty above. Spread a little more glaze and top it with crispy onion.
