ABOUT Shahi Tukda RECIPE

This is a lovely Indian desert made with bread, sugar syrup and rabdi. A perfect desert for all party occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Milk 1/2lt
  2. Sugar 1cup
  3. Water 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom pwdr 1tsp
  5. Bread slices 4
  6. Oil ghee for frying

Instructions

  1. For Rabdi Firstly take a pan add half lt milk & let it boil....reduce the milk till it thickens.
  2. You can add milk powder too (optional) when done add 1tbsp sugar & cardamom powder. switch off the flame.
  3. To make the sugar syrup, take 1 cup sugar & half cup water in a pan , let it boil...simmer on medium flame for 5 to 7 mins. Switch off the flame once done.
  4. Now cut bread slices in shape of your choice...rectangular, triangle or in square shape Deep fry the bread slices on medium heat or till crisp
  5. Add the fried slices in sugar syrup (must be lukewarm not hot ) for 4-5sec. remove from the syrup & place them in plate Now arrange in plate (as in pic) , pour some rabri on slice then put 2nd slice ,then again rabri and so on Keep it in fridge for some time and enjoy....
