Ingredients to make papad curry

  • papad 2-3
  • tomatoes finely chopped 1/2cup
  • cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp
  • chopped fenugreek leaves 1tbsp
  • green chilli 1
  • salt to taste
  • redchilli powder 1/2tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • water 1/2cup
  • coriender leaves 1tsp
  • oil for frying
  • oil for gravy 1tsp

How to make papad curry

  1. Heat oil in pan and deep fry the pieces of papad
  2. Broke down fried papad in small pieces
  3. Heat 1tsp of oil in a pan add cumin seeds to it let they crackle
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute
  5. Add finely chopped tomatoes fenugreek leaves and green chilli and cook
  6. Add salt redchilli powder turmeric powder to it mix well let tomato gets cook properly
  7. When mixture starts leaving oil add water
  8. Add fried papad to it and cook for 2-3minutes and then switch of the flamw
  9. Garnish with coriender leaves serve with hot chapati or parathas

My Tip:

Boiled mashed potato can be added
