Ingredients to make Radish Fried Ragi Roti

  • Ragi flour 1 cup
  • water 1 1/2 cup
  • Grated radish 1 cup
  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil 1/4 cup
  • cumin seeds 1 1/2 tsp
  • Dill leaves chopped 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Grated coconut 3/4 cup

How to make Radish Fried Ragi Roti

  1. HEAT 1 TSP OF OIL, ADD CUMIN, LET IT CRACKLE
  2. ADD ONION AND FRY TILL TENDER
  3. ADD GRATED RADISH, FRY TILL TENDER
  4. ADD DILL LEAVES, TURN OFF THE FLAME
  5. ADD SLOWLY RAGI FLOUR INTO BOILING WATER, TURN OFF THE FLAME
  6. MIX WELL AND ALLOW IT TO COOL
  7. TRANSFER THE DOUGH INTO RADISH FRIED PAN
  8. MIX WELL
  9. ADD SALT AND COCONUT
  10. MIX WELL AND PREPARE THE SMOOTH DOUGH
  11. DO THE CRICKET BALL SIZED BALLS OUT OF DOUGH
  12. DOUGH BALLS ARE READY
  13. APPLY OIL TO ROTI SHEET
  14. TAKE THE DOUGH BALL AND START PATTING
  15. APPLY WATER TO HAND AND PAT AS THIN AS POSSIBLE
  16. GREASE OIL TO TAWA
  17. TRANSFER THE PATTED ROTI INTO HEATED TAWA
  18. AFTER A MINUTE REMOVE THE SHEET
  19. FLIP OVER IT AND FRY IN MEDIUM FLAME
  20. AFTER 2 MINUTES REMOVE AND SERVE IN HOT WITH CHUTNEY
