MIX VEG PULUSU

Ingredients to make MIX VEG PULUSU

  • fenugreek seeds - half tea spoon.
  • oil - as required.
  • Mustard seeds - half tea spoon.
  • Cumin seeds - half tea spoon.
  • curry leaves - 2 springs
  • onions - 2 ,sliced
  • salt - to taste
  • green chillies - 2-3 numbers
  • Turmeric - 1 tea spoon
  • bottle gourd - 1 number
  • Brinjal - 2
  • tomatoes - 1
  • Chilly powder - 1 tea spoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon
  • tamarind juice - 1 cup
  • Jaggery - 2 teaspoons
  • coriander leaves - 1 bunch

How to make MIX VEG PULUSU

  1. Add oil in a pan then add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and sauté it then add curry leaves, onions, salt, green chillies, and turmeric.
  2. Keep mixing and add pieces of brinjal, bottle gourd, tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander powder and some more salt.
  3. After 2-3 minutes of sauteing add water and mix it well.
  4. Now add tamarind juice and check the sourness and salt.Cover it with lid and let it cook for 15 minutes on medium flame.Check whether all the pieces are cooked completely.
  5. At last add some jaggery and simmer it for another 2 minutes and switch off the flame.
  6. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.
