ABOUT Healthy Aloo tuk RECIPE

Aloo tuk is a popular and tasty dish in Sindhi cuisine but it is deep fried . I make this healthy yet equally tasty version of aloo tuk.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 4 boiled potatoes
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 3/4 tsp coriander powder
  5. 3/4 tsp red chilli powder
  6. oil,as required

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into roundrels 1 cm thick.
  2. Mix the salt and dry spices and keep aside.
  3. In anon stick pan, add oil and shallow fry the potatoes on both sides till brown and crisp.
  4. Take them out in a plate and sprinkle the spice and salt mix on top.
  5. Serve hot with your favourite rice or roti.
