Masala oats

Ingredients to make Masala oats

  • Quaker Oats 3-4 tablespoon
  • onion finely chopped (1)
  • tomato (1) remove seeds , finely chopped
  • Spring onions finely chopped
  • Green chili (1)
  • garlic cloves (2)
  • ginger
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • olive oil 2 tsp
  • red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • coriander seeds powder (dhana) 1/2 tsp
  • water (2 cups)

How to make Masala oats

  1. In a pan, add olive oil , add crushed garlic and ginger to it and let it cook until you could smell the flavours coming out.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and saute it till it becomes transparent
  3. Add tomatoes which is finely chopped and let it cook for 1 min
  4. Add spring onions and let it cook for a min
  5. Add all masalas i.e. garam masala powder, red chilly powder , turmeric powder , dhana , also add salt as per your convenience.
  6. Mix the masalas and veggies properly . Later add 3-4 tablespoon of Quaker oats.
  7. Mix the oats for 1 min with the veggies and masalas and add 2 cups of water
  8. Keep stirring for 3 mins until the excess of water evaporates and the consistency becomes little thick.
  9. Serve it hot .

My Tip:

Best healthy and quick breakfast recipe for people who wants to loose weight. Your stomach is full for 4-5 hours.
