Ingredients to make Chilly Prawns

  • For Marinate : 500 gms prawns
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilly Sauce
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsps cornflour
  • 2 tbsps all purpose flour
  • For Stir Fry : 1 tbsp ginger chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 1 capsicum cubed
  • 1 spring onion chopped
  • 1 onion cubed
  • 1 green chilly chopped
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilly Sauce
  • 2 tbsps ketchup
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsps cornflour diluted in ½ cup water
  • 2-3 tbsps spring onion greens chopped
  • 2 tbsps roasted peanut crushed
  • oil for frying

How to make Chilly Prawns

  1. TAKE 500 GMS PRAWNS. ADD 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE, 1 TBSP SOYA SAUCE, 1 TBSP CHILLY SAUCE, 1 TSP PEPPER
  2. ADD SALT TO TASTE, MIX WELL AND MARINATE FOR ATLEAST 30 MINS
  3. ADD 2 TBSPS CORNFLOUR AND 2 TBSPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR AND MIX WELL
  4. HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND DROP THE MARINATED PRAWNS.
  5. FRY THEM TILL BROWN APPROX 6-7 MINS
  6. HEAT 3 TBSPS OIL. ADD 1 TBSP CHOPPED GINGER AND 1 TBSP CHOPPED GARLIC
  7. ADD 1 CAPSICUM CUBED, 1 SPRING ONION CHOPPED AND 1 ONION CUBED
  8. ADD 1 GREEN CHILLY CHOPPED AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINS
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP PEPPER POWDER, 1 TBSP SOYA SAUCE, 1 TBSP CHILLY SAUCE AND 2 TBSPS KETCHUP
  10. MIX WELL AND ADD 2 TSP CORNFLOUR DILUTED IN 1/2 CUP WATER
  11. BRING IT TO A BOIL, ADD SALT AND FRIED PRAWNS, MIX WELL AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINS
  12. ADD 1 TBSP CHOPPED SPRING ONION GREENS AND 2 TBSPS ROASTED PEANUT
  13. GARNISH WITH MORE SPRING ONION GREENS AND SERVE.
