Ingredients to make Kanji

  • 1 bowl sliced black carrot
  • 1 bowl sliced beetroot
  • 2 tsp rai powder
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • salt as needed
  • 1 litre water

How to make Kanji

  1. Put carrots and beetroot pieces in a jar.
  2. Add water ,rai,black salt, table salt and mix the content thoroughly.
  3. Cover with lid and place the jar in sun light for two days.
  4. After that it is ready to serve.

My Tip:

Drinking kanji on sunny winter days gives more soothing and tasteful experience.
