Masala murg

Ingredients to make Masala murg

  • Boneless chicken 300 gm.
  • curd 200 gm.
  • Sliced onion 1 large size.
  • ginger 3 tbsp grated.
  • tomato 2 medium size finally chopped
  • bay leaves 2.
  • tomato sauce 2 tbsp.
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 4 tbsp.
  • red chilli powder 2 tbsp.
  • cardamom powder 1 tbsp.
  • salt as needed.
  • White oil 1/2 cup.

How to make Masala murg

  1. Marinate the whole chicken with curd, grated ginger, chopped tomatoes , 2 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder, salt , 1 tbsp white oil for minimum 30 minutes .
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add oil.
  4. Add Bay leaves.
  5. Add sliced onions.
  6. Fry it .
  7. Add the marinated chicken.
  8. Add kashmiri chilli powder & dry chilli powder .
  9. Cook for 30 minutes in low flame.
  10. Sprinkle cardamom powder at last.
  11. Serve with rooti or parata.
