Achari Moth Chaat

Ingredients to make Achari Moth Chaat

  • 100 gms raw moth
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli
  • 1 tsp Chopped corriander
  • 1 tbsp of diced boiled potato
  • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped cucumber
  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped tomato
  • 1 lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fine sev
  • 1 tsp mango pickle masala

How to make Achari Moth Chaat

  1. Soak the moth in water for 2-3 hours. Then drain water and transfer it to a muslin cloth and keep it covered so that sprouts will grow. (This process could take 1 day.)
  2. Pressure cook the moth with salt and turmeric powder and very little water till 1 whistle blows.
  3. Transfer it to a bowl and add all the other ingredients and toss it well together.
  4. Your tangy spicy street food is ready to be enjoyed.
  5. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander and sev.

My Tip:

To make another twisted moth salad just add 1 tsp of lemon pickle masala to it.

Arti should the P Cooker be opened immediately after 1 whistle or it should take it's own time to come to normal ?
