ABOUT Achari Moth Chaat RECIPE

Moth chaat is one of the most common street foods of North India. No one can say no to this healthy and yummy street food. Here we have givenita twist by adding the achaari masala.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 gms raw moth
  2. 1 finely chopped green chilli
  3. 1 tsp Chopped corriander
  4. 1 tbsp of diced boiled potato
  5. 1/2 tbsp finely chopped cucumber
  6. 1 tbsp Finely chopped tomato
  7. 1 lemon Juice
  8. 1 tsp chaat masala
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tsp Salt
  11. 1 tbsp fine sev
  12. 1 tsp mango pickle masala

Instructions

  1. Soak the moth in water for 2-3 hours. Then drain water and transfer it to a muslin cloth and keep it covered so that sprouts will grow. (This process could take 1 day.)
  2. Pressure cook the moth with salt and turmeric powder and very little water till 1 whistle blows.
  3. Transfer it to a bowl and add all the other ingredients and toss it well together.
  4. Your tangy spicy street food is ready to be enjoyed.
  5. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander and sev.
