  2. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  3. Red chilli 1
  4. Chopped bitter gourd 1 cup
  5. Tamarind gooseberry sized
  6. Chopped onion 1
  7. Garlic peeled 8-10
  8. Turmeric powder a pinch
  9. Jaggery 2 gooseberry sized
  10. Green chilli (optional)

Instructions

  1. PREPARE SEASONING
  2. FRY GARLIC TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  3. FRY ONION TILL TENDER
  4. FRY BITTER GOURD TILL TENDER
  5. TURMERIC POWDER
  6. SALT
  7. TAMARIND SOAKED, SQUEEZED WATER
  8. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  9. ADD JAGGERY, ALLOW IT TO COOK FOR 10 MINUTES IN MEDIUM FLAME
  10. ALL MIXED AND COOKED WELL, TURN OFF THE FLAME
