Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 onion
  2. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 1 tbsp oil
  5. 3/4 cup peas
  6. 150 gm paneer
  7. 1-2 green chillies
  8. salt, as required
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  13. coriander, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pressure cooker heat oil and add chopped onion.
  2. add ginger garlic paste when onions are translucent and sauté for 1 min.
  3. Purée the tomatoes in a blender and add to to cooker.
  4. Add salt and all dry spices and sauté well till tomatoes start leaving oil.
  5. Add peas and mix well for 1-2 mins.
  6. Add water as required and then pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  7. Cut the paneer into cubes and place in warm water.
  8. When the steam goes off, open the cooker and add paneer cubes and mix them.
  9. garnish with garam masala powder and coriander leaves and serve hot.
