Aloo Sandwich

Ingredients to make Aloo Sandwich

  • Sliced Boiled potatoes - 1
  • tomato ketchup - 2 tsp (optional)
  • butter, softened - 1 tsp
  • Green dhania/mint chutney - 2 tsp
  • Sliced onion - 1 (optional)
  • Sliced paneer Slices - 2 (optional)
  • Sliced cucumber - 1/2
  • Sliced tomatoes - 1
  • Bread slices - 4
  • Chaat masala to sprinkle

How to make Aloo Sandwich

  1. Apply butter on one bread slice and apply a teaspoon of ketchup on top of butter and keep aside.
  2. Apply the green chutney on the other bread slice. Now arrange a paneer slice (optional), 4 boiled potatoes slices, 4 tomato slices, 4 cucumber slices & 2 onion slices (optional) on the bread with green chutney on it.
  3. Generously sprinkle chaat masala on the veggies and cover with the buttered bread slice.
  4. Grill the sandwich from both sides on the hot griddle till toasted nicely brown and crispy.
  5. Make another sandwich in the same manner. Serve hot with green chutney and ketchup.

My Tip:

You can make any variation to this sandwich. You can also make it as a double decker sandwich.
