Spaghetti Cheese Balls with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients to make Spaghetti Cheese Balls with Tomato Sauce

  • For Spaghetti: 1 Cup Noodles,1 Tbsp, Olive Oil & Pinch of Salt Water
  • For Cheese Balls:
  • 2 Bread Slices
  • 1/3 Cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ginger
  • 1/2 Tsp. Green Chili
  • 1 Tbsp. Green Coriander chopped
  • 1 Tsp. Mixed Herbs (Rosemary Oregano Parsley)
  • 1 Tbsp. Bread Crumbs
  • Salt to taste & Oil for deep frying
  • For Tomato sauce:
  • 2 Cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 Tsp. Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Bay leaf & 2 Cloves
  • 1 Small Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 Tsp. Ginger Paste
  • 1/2 Tsp. Oregano
  • 1/2 Tsp. each Rosemary & Parsley
  • 1/2 Tsp. Sugar
  • Black Pepper for seasoning

How to make Spaghetti Cheese Balls with Tomato Sauce

  1. For the Cheese balls: Grind the green chillies, onion, coriander and ginger as paste.
  2. Soak the bread in water or milk and mix with grated paneer. Add onion paste and dried herbs. Add bread crumbs and salt and knead as firm dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal 8 small portions and shape into ball form.
  4. Heat the enough oil on medium flame and deep fry them till to golden. Cheese balls are ready.
  5. For Tomato Sauce: Heat the oil in pan and add bay leaf and cloves. Add onion and ginger paste and sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Add Tomato puree, ketchup and herbs and cook till to sauce consistency. Add sugar, salt and pepper for seasoning. Add cheese balls into the simmering sauce.
  7. Boil the spaghetti/noodles with a pinch of salt & olive oil
  8. Serve hot cheese balls and tomato sauce with spaghetti. Garnish with coriander or basil leaves.
My Tip: If you don't like cottage cheese too much, you can use boiled/mashed potatoes instead.
